Biography:
ITEM was born in 2004.
From the start, band performed actual heavy music mixing different music styles in their songs. Speciality of ITEM’s songs is their recognisability, mix of pithiness and deep arrangement. The musicians have created their own sound, original eclectic style which became a face of the band.
Full of drive, band achieved a lot in St. Petersburg’s heavy underground scene and became one of its main hit makers. It’s happened mainly due to professional working with public. There is an energy exchange between public and performers on ITEM’s concerts. A group performance is the original interactive show.
Altogether, band performed more than 100 concerts in St. Petersburg, Moscow etc. On different occasions band played together with history of heavy music – Lake of Tears (Sweden), Suidakra (Germany), Gothminister (Norway), Aria. Band played on a biggest in Russia metal festival “Rock Palace open air” in summer 2006.
Composition “All Away” made it to compilation “Legacy Of Metal vol.1” in autumn 2005. Composition got very positive reviews. New DVD Rock Palace open air 2006, where ITEM was presented with their two songs and an interview, released in April 2007. Company InterDvd released first ITEM’s concert DVD in autumn 2007. Band’s debut album “Outlife” released in 2009 in the biggest Russian label heavy music Irond.
